#26.27 - Booking pricing gets bulletproof controls and AI assistance

You can now control booking prices with surgical precision. A new **Edit pricing** panel shows exactly what each participant contributes to the total, lets you review price changes before they take effect, and requires a reason for any manual overrides. The system actively prevents prices from drifting when you edit booking details — metadata changes never touch the price, and every update is anchored against your source of truth.
Invoice creation just got smarter. With a single click, you can generate professional invoice descriptions using AI that understands your booking context. The system drafts descriptions based on actual trip details, customer names, and dates — never inventing information. You also have granular control over what appears on invoices, choosing whether to show booking lines, include pricing, or keep things minimal. Each segment can override workspace defaults to match different customer preferences.
Before copying a trip to a new date, you'll now see exactly what inventory is available. The new preflight check shows you which products have capacity at the projected dates, which time slots need to be created, and which are fully booked — all before you commit to the copy. You can create missing time slots right from the preview, ensuring your copied trip has everything it needs from day one.
You have more control over the booking experience with mandatory products. Mark any trip product as required, and customers must add it to their cart before checkout. If a mandatory product is unavailable for their party size, they'll see a clear message explaining what's needed — preventing incomplete bookings at the source.
Also improved: Flight itineraries on order PDFs with smart day-offset indicators, time slot changes that propagate to linked bookings, proper seat reservation cleanup on cancellations, and dozens of smaller enhancements to reports, permissions, and the customer portal.
