I have spent 24 years building booking systems for the travel industry. Not selling them, not consulting on them: building them, and then running them for the agencies that depended on them every day.
That work includes booking solutions for Icelandair, Lastminute.com, Holiday Autos Nordic and FI Travel, and thirteen years building and running Odin Software / Corivo, the platform that became the dominant booking system for Icelandic travel agencies. Hundreds of thousands of travellers have booked through systems I built.
Why Itsy exists
Itsy is the third booking system I have built. I started it from scratch in 2021, on everything the first two taught me about what an agency actually needs and where systems break down. It is a product with a predictable monthly cost, not a custom build with an open-ended bill, and it is built for one kind of customer: an agency that sells its own trips and has outgrown the system it is on.
Who runs on it
Okkar Ferðir, Verdi Travel, Visitor, Golfskálinn, Evrópuferðir run their operations on Itsy. Together they have made more than 2.3 billion ISK in bookings through it, as of September 2026.
How I work
I have built Itsy in public since 2021. Every release is in the changelog, so you can see what shipped and when, not just what is promised.
The demo is fifteen minutes with me, not a sales team. You will get a straight answer on whether Itsy fits your agency. If it does not, for instance because you need a full GDS front end, I will say so on the call.
